🌹 Rose Giving A Pocket full of Roses

Miro recognized the next name on his rose delivery list, and smiled as he walked from the second floor corridor down to the great hall, pausing as he reached the Ravenclaw table. He didn't know Elise well enough to call her a friend, but he did know her face and name and house from their classes. Unfortunately it was not enough for him to spot her in the crowd of Ravenclaw students seated at the table so he thought it would be best to call out for her in the hope she was nearby. "Elise Ito! You have a rose!" He called out, waiting to see if anyone at the table reacted.​

Elise was tired and ready for a break to eat before she had to get back to lessons and the rest of her deliveries. But before she could even take a bite she heard her name being called. Her head whipped up as she turned toward the sound and saw it was Miro shouting for her. Without getting up she raised her arm in the air and waved it around. "I'm over here!" she called out in a sing-song voice.

Miro soon spotted Elise waving her arm, and this caused him to smile as he walked over to her. "Hey, I have a rose delivery for you!" He announced, moving a hand to his basket of roses and searching for the yellow rose meant for her. He soon plucked it out of the few roses he had left and offered it to Elise along with the note. "Here you go." He said happily, waiting to see her reaction.

Elise smiled expectantly as she waited for Miro to come to her. Maybe she could see the point of all these roses. "Thank you." she said eagerly as he handed her the rose and the note. She wasted no time reading the note and immediately rolling her eyes. She appreciated the thought from Dorian but he could have at least written her an actual note. She would have to make sure to bring it up to him later. She turned to Miro and smiled again, unsure what she was supposed to say now.

The reaction to each rose Miro delivered that day had been overwhelmingly positive, so it surprised him a little, and threw him a bit off kilter when he saw Elise roll her eyes as she read the note accompanying her rose. He couldn't dwell on his surprise for long however as Elise soon turned back to him, and Miro smiled in return as he tried to squash down the sudden awkwardness he felt. "Hope you have a great day okay!" He exclaimed before promptly running off to make his next delivery, not wanting to linger too long in case he began to feel more awkward.​

Elise blinked as Miro shouted a quick goodbye, sparing her from having to say anything at all. She couldn't blame him. These deliveries were taking forever and he probably had a lot left to do. She offered him a wave even though he had already run off before she turned back to her lunch.
